1Password & Anthropic: Secure AI Credential Access for Claude

1Password and Anthropic are partnering to bring secure credential access to Claude, an AI agent. This new browser integration, called 1Password for Claude, allows the AI to use stored credentials without those details ever reaching the AI model or Anthropic's systems. What's interesting is this means users can authorize Claude to complete real-world tasks, like booking travel, while keeping control over which credentials are used and for what purpose. The system injects credentials directly to the target system on the user's behalf.
