Agentic AI Learners Double: Companies Prioritize Skilling

Agentic AI learners have nearly doubled in a year, reaching over 57,000, as companies prioritize employee training. This comes from an edForce report, showing a sharp increase in training across AI and related technologies. What's interesting is this points to AI adoption being treated as a broader business transformation. Cloud computing training increased by 29 percent, with over 41,000 learners, and DevOps training grew by 26 percent, reaching over 31,000 learners. Cybersecurity training also saw significant growth, up 39 percent, with over 25,000 learners. Certification-based learning is also gaining momentum, with certifications earned by learners increasing by 36 percent to over 38,000. Leadership training is the second-fastest growing category, with a 46 percent increase to nearly 12,000 learners. The bottom line is companies are investing in training to help their workforce effectively use AI and support its widespread implementation. This trend shows a shift from AI experimentation to deploying and managing AI systems at scale.
