AI Attacks: Top Cybersecurity Concern for Professionals

AI-powered attacks are now the biggest cybersecurity concern for security professionals. New research surveyed 168 professionals, and 41% identified large-scale AI attacks as their top worry. This is almost double the concern for supply chain risk or unknown threats, both at 21%. What's interesting is that nearly one in three boards, 32%, are also most concerned about AI-driven threats. This focus on AI risk now surpasses regulatory compliance and supply chain risk for boards. Security teams are struggling with inefficiencies. The most common time-waster, at 26%, is chasing false positives and low-priority alerts. Another 25% lose time validating if risks are real. The bottom line: organizations have lots of security data, but turning that information into quick, informed action remains a significant challenge.
