AI Film 'Dreams of Violets' Premieres at Tribeca

A feature film made entirely with AI, called 'Dreams of Violets', will premiere at the Tribeca Festival. Brothers Ash and Pooya Koosha created the movie in about three months with a budget of just $2,000. Ash Koosha was in London during production. They used AI to translate text into animation and turn still images into video. Their company, Fountain 0, also developed technology to maintain character consistency and natural camera movements. The film is set in Tehran in January 2026 and is based on reports and accounts of protests. It follows five strangers trapped in an alley, with a child named Amir watching from a window. Ash Koosha called it a very personal project, as he and his brother fled Iran in 2009. The movie focuses on the human aspect of the events. Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal praised the blend of new technology and powerful storytelling. The film screens in New York on June 10th. This shows how new technology can bring important stories to light.
