AI Hacking Spurs Integrated Security & XDR Platforms

The cybersecurity industry is rapidly strengthening integrated security operation systems in response to AI-powered hacking. This comes as Google discovered hacking organizations using AI to develop "zero-day" attack codes. Attackers are leveraging AI to increase the speed, scale, and sophistication of their attacks. In response, cybersecurity companies are enhancing Extended Detection and Response, or XDR, platforms. These platforms allow AI to manage the entire security environment in real time. For example, AhnLab integrated a conversational AI security assistant named 'Annie' into its platform. Logpresso also launched its AI-based XDR platform 'Luna 5.0'. These solutions use AI agents for real-time threat analysis and response. There's also a move towards autonomous Security Operation Centers, or SOCs, where AI analyzes security alerts, prioritizes threats, and coordinates responses. This approach reduces security operation costs and allows for real-time threat detection and response. This shift helps combat the growing threat of AI-driven cyberattacks.
