AI in 83% of Breaches: Gigamon Report Reveals Risks

Attackers are using AI for more convincing phishing emails, automated password attacks, and tailored malware. What's interesting is that this 83% figure includes cases where AI security tools were present but didn't stop the breach. This contrasts with IBM data, which shows around 16% of breaches involved attackers using AI. While AI can aid defense through monitoring and detection, companies often deploy AI tools without proper security protocols. This makes them vulnerable.
