Cybersecurity leader Bitdefender finds that AI-driven threats are outpacing cyber professionals. A new report details urgent concerns from over 1,200 IT and security professionals. Here's the thing: Agentic AI, large language models, and infrastructure breaches are top security concerns. Almost 45% of respondents cite internal AI systems as their primary environment concern. What's interesting is that over 59% of all respondents experienced AI-driven social engineering attacks in the past year. Also, 55.9% see attackers using AI to generate self-mutating malware as a top threat. This shows how seriously security leaders are thinking about AI-native risks. The bottom line: Organizations need to rethink their security approaches as adversaries become faster and more automated.
