AITSPIN: AIT's New AI Era Professional Education Model

The Asian Institute of Technology has launched a new school called AITSPIN, the AIT School of Professional Intelligence. This school is designed for professionals, leaders, and organizations navigating the AI era. The official inauguration ceremony took place in Bangkok. H.E. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, presided over the event. AITSPIN aims to advance lifelong learning and workforce reinvention. This new initiative expands AIT's mission into a new educational landscape. It reflects the view that universities must create new pathways for learners to continually renew their knowledge and skills. The World Economic Forum projects that 39 percent of core job skills will change by 2030. Asia-Pacific already faces a significant AI talent deficit. In Thailand, 62 percent of employers report difficulty attracting skilled talent. AITSPIN is AIT's direct response to this gap. This matters because it highlights a new approach to education for the changing demands of the AI-driven world.
