Akamai Secures WWT's AI Readiness Model (ARMOR)

Akamai has been chosen as a strategic security partner for World Wide Technology's AI Readiness Model for Operational Resilience, known as ARMOR. This collaboration makes Akamai a core security architecture for the "AI factories" that World Wide Technology is building. What's interesting is that ARMOR is the industry's first vendor-agnostic AI security framework. It provides a blueprint across six key areas, including model security and infrastructure security. Akamai's role involves three main pillars. First, it helps eliminate the "security tax" by offloading segmentation to NVIDIA BlueField, which can accelerate ransomware containment by an average of 21.4%. Second, Akamai API Security will protect agentic AI and data lakes, preventing unauthorized access. Third, with Prolexic DDoS mitigation, Akamai offers a multilayered defense against attacks on AI architectures. The bottom line is that this partnership aims to help enterprises achieve true cyber resilience for their AI systems.
