Akamai & WWT Partner on ARMOR for AI Security

Akamai and World Wide Technology are partnering to enhance AI security. Their collaboration focuses on WWT's AI Readiness Model for Operational Resilience, called ARMOR. This framework integrates Akamai's software intelligence with NVIDIA BlueField DPUs. The goal is to eliminate "security taxes" on AI workloads. This means enterprises can adopt AI both scalably and securely. Akamai will serve as a foundational security architecture for "AI Factories" built by WWT and accelerated by NVIDIA. The ARMOR framework is vendor-agnostic and covers six critical security domains. These include Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Infrastructure Security. Akamai's role involves offloading security functions to NVIDIA BlueField, securing agentic AI and data lakes, and providing end-to-end defense against attacks. This collaboration helps organizations avoid fragmented security strategies and ensures AI environments run efficiently.
