Altman: OpenAI AGI by 2026? AI Race Heats Up!

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman claims the company could achieve Artificial General Intelligence, or AGI, by the end of 2026. This means the AI race might be closer to its biggest milestone. Astra can also operate desktop software and move between applications. The chief scientist says Astra has passed the company's internal benchmark for an automated AI research intern. This system can implement experimental ideas, run experiments, and perform follow-up work that previously took human researchers a week.
