Anaconda Buys Enkrypt AI: Securing Enterprise AI at Scale

Anaconda Inc. has acquired Enkrypt AI, an AI security and compliance solution. This acquisition aims to mitigate risks hidden within enterprise AI. With Enkrypt AI, the Anaconda Platform now governs the entire process from a builder's first prompt to their AI-native application running in production. This means every model, agent, and MCP server can be trusted by the enterprise. Anaconda has spent over a decade securing open-source packages and models for AI teams. This foundation now covers the full AI-native development lifecycle. The platform includes production-grade AI orchestration, guiding teams from experimentation to production. Anaconda also recently acquired Kilo Code, extending its capabilities into agentic engineering environments. Enkrypt AI adds a crucial security, governance, and compliance layer. This ensures the complete AI agent stack produces safe and trustworthy results at an enterprise scale. It is vendor-neutral and cloud-agnostic, designed for organizations deploying autonomous AI agents. Enkrypt AI has scanned over 268,000 tools across 25,000 MCP servers in the past two months. It found more than 143,000 vulnerabilities, affecting 73% of those servers. This acquisition helps secure AI systems as enterprises move towards trillion-token scale.
