Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 & Mythos 5 AI Models Launched

Anthropic has launched two new AI models, Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5. These are the first publicly available models from its new Mythos class of AI systems. Here's the thing: Claude Fable 5 is for general use in areas like software engineering and visual tasks. It's designed to be effective for complex work and includes safety mechanisms to block high-risk responses. If needed, it can fall back to an older model, Claude Opus 4.8. What's interesting is Claude Mythos 5, which shares the same underlying technology but has fewer restrictions. Access to Mythos 5 is currently limited to approved organizations in a program called Project Glasswing. Both models offer a large one-million-token context window. The bottom line: These new models represent Anthropic's most capable AI technology to date, and they are available through various platforms, with pricing set at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens.
