Apple vs. OpenAI: Trade Secret Lawsuit Heats Up

Apple and OpenAI are locked in an escalating legal battle. Apple sued OpenAI last month, accusing the AI company of stealing trade secrets through former employees. More than 400 former Apple employees reportedly now work at OpenAI. A federal judge will consider both requests at a hearing on October 1st. The two companies remain partners, with ChatGPT integrated into Apple products since 2024. This legal fight highlights the intense competition in the tech industry, especially around AI and new hardware.
