ARRAY Spectrum AI Tops Snowflake Benchmark: Beats GPT-5 & Humans

ARRAY Innovation's Spectrum AI has achieved the top global ranking on Snowflake's benchmark, developed with Oxford University. This enterprise AI and data solutions suite secured the number one spot for document attribution. Spectrum AI outperformed all other systems, both open-weight and proprietary, in identifying and citing correct source documents. It surpassed the next-best open-weight competitor by about 20 percentage points. What's interesting is that Spectrum AI is the only open-weight system on the benchmark to exceed human performance, beating the human baseline by 5.5 percentage points. This system is designed to help organizations extract intelligence from their data with high accuracy. Unlike conventional solutions, Spectrum AI reads and understands an organization's actual documents before providing answers, ensuring responses are grounded in verifiable sources. The open-weight version of Spectrum AI, powered by Spectrum OCR and Spectrum Agent running on Qwen 3.6, uses only 3 billion active parameters per token. Despite this compact architecture, it surpassed leading proprietary models like GPT-5 and Claude Sonnet 4.5. The system can also be deployed fully on-premise, offering a high-performance, low-cost option for data privacy. The managed API version of Spectrum AI also achieved high accuracy, outperforming human performance by 9.6 percentage points and surpassing leading models from Google, OpenAI, and others. This achievement demonstrates that organizations can have both high performance and data sovereignty with AI solutions.
