ASEAN AI Attacks: 30% Hit, $4.12M Breach Cost

Three in ten organizations across the ASEAN region have experienced malicious attacks driven by Artificial Intelligence. This comes as the average data breach cost in ASEAN reached $4.12 million, the highest recorded so far. What's interesting is that organizations using AI and security automation extensively saw lower average breach costs, at $3.66 million. They also identified and contained breaches 123 days faster than those without such tools. The report highlights that critical infrastructure faces higher AI-driven risks. Financial services organizations reported the highest average breach costs at $6.53 million.
