AWS & CrowdStrike Combat Agentic AI Threats

The partnership between AWS and CrowdStrike is strengthening to address new threats from agentic AI. As AI expands the attack surface, cloud providers and security companies are working more closely together. Mona Chadha, director of AI and strategic partnerships at Amazon Web Services, explains that the relationship has evolved from infrastructure to joint defense of AI models and agents. This is because customers are building new applications and agents on cloud infrastructure, creating more areas to protect. CrowdStrike is tackling this through Project QuiltWorks, an alliance with various partners. Amanda Adams, senior vice president of global alliances at CrowdStrike, highlights Falcon IQ, a new tool built on AWS. This tool uses AI to quickly assess and remediate security issues. Both companies emphasize that security remains paramount, with Chadha stating, "Security is job zero." This collaboration is important because it aims to build secure AI environments from the ground up, protecting against evolving threats.
