AWS Security Hub Expands to Azure & AI Workloads

AWS Security Hub now offers expanded protection for Microsoft Azure and AI workloads. This update allows Security Hub to discover Azure virtual machines, container images, and identities, then check for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. AWS says Azure findings will be prioritized alongside AWS findings, using the same formats and workflows. This extends risk analytics and security management across both AWS and Azure. For AI workloads, AWS introduced GuardDuty AI Protection for Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker. This service detects unusual model invocations, cost-harvesting attacks, and prompt-injection attempts. AWS also launched Security Hub AI inventory, which gives an organization-wide view of AI assets and their security. The AI inventory maps each asset to its underlying infrastructure and correlates it with security signals. This development highlights how AI and multi-cloud risks are converging around enterprise applications, impacting ERP systems.
