Baidu Cloud Splits AI Agent, MaaS Biz for Enterprise Focus

Baidu Cloud has reportedly reorganized its platform product division, renaming it the intelligent-agent division. This change involved moving its model-as-a-service and Qianfan businesses to a separate infrastructure division. These reported changes took effect in August. The company's data platform unit was also renamed the data-intelligence division and is now under the intelligent-applications business. What's interesting is that this restructuring separates Baidu Cloud’s model infrastructure, data services, and agent products into different operating units. The bottom line is that these moves come as Baidu Cloud expands its enterprise AI business.
