Bluesky's Attie: AI Social Research Tool for Open Web

Bluesky's AI assistant, Attie, is expanding into an open-ended social research tool. A new feature called Quests lets users ask Attie for information and news from across the Bluesky social network, known as the Atmosphere. This includes content from any app using the AT Protocol. Here's the thing: Attie, which launched in March, allows users to design custom feeds without programming. With Quests, you can ask it open-ended questions, like finding trending topics or influential accounts. Bluesky's chief innovation officer, Jay Graber, says Attie helps users fight misinformation by providing tools to find information themselves. What's interesting is that Attie is currently free, though the company has considered charging for the service. The new Attie experience is in beta, with users being invited from a waitlist in the coming weeks.
