Bosses Trust AI More Than Staff with Docs: Adobe Study

A new study reveals that bosses are more comfortable sharing work documents with AI than with their employees. Almost 40% of C-suite leaders are relying on AI to complete tasks, despite privacy and security implications. The survey, conducted by Adobe Acrobat, explored AI use in UK workplaces. It found that nearly 75% of C-suite leaders are happy to share work documents with AI tools for tasks like marketing, translating, and data analysis. These documents often contain confidential information. In contrast, only 20% of non-management employees are comfortable with this, and almost two-thirds avoid AI tools completely. While 37% of C-suite leaders use AI to save between three and five hours weekly, 59% of non-management employees don't use AI at all. One major concern is security, with 22% of organizations adopting AI tools citing data security and privacy as their biggest challenge. This matters because it highlights a potential risk to sensitive company information.
