BT Joins Anthropic Project Glasswing: UK Cybersecurity Boost

BT has become the first UK firm to publicly join Anthropic's Project Glasswing. This cybersecurity initiative gives partners access to Anthropic's advanced model, Claude Mythos Preview. The announcement came at the UK Government’s AI Adoption Summit. BT CEO Allison Kirkby stated this partnership will help defend networks and customer systems against evolving attacks. BT already blocks four million attacks daily. What's interesting is Project Glasswing was launched in response to AI-fueled attacks. The Claude Mythos Preview model has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities. It can identify unknown software vulnerabilities and recommend security patches. The model is not yet released to the public due to concerns about misuse. Many see this as AI fighting AI, using powerful models against increasingly sophisticated attacks enabled by AI itself. This collaboration could significantly boost cybersecurity for UK infrastructure and consumers.
