Casepoint MCP Server: AI Choice for Legal & Govt Workflows

Casepoint has launched its new Model Context Protocol, or MCP Server. This allows organizations to connect their preferred AI models and agents directly to the Casepoint platform. What's interesting is this server is built on an open standard. It provides a secure integration layer between external AI and Casepoint's platform. This means customers can use their own approved AI tools across eDiscovery, legal hold, investigations, and FOIA applications. The initial release includes features for retrieving review batch status, reviewer productivity metrics, and FOIA request status, among other operational insights. Every request uses the authenticated user's existing permissions, so AI agents only access authorized information. The bottom line is this aims to provide a secure and flexible way for organizations, especially government agencies and regulated enterprises, to integrate their chosen AI with Casepoint's existing legal and compliance workflows.
