ChatGPT Business Premium: 5x Usage, No Limits

OpenAI is rolling out a new Premium seat option for ChatGPT Business, offering five times more AI usage than Standard seats. This update is designed for employees with demanding workloads who rely heavily on ChatGPT. The Premium seats also remove the existing five-hour usage limit, allowing for uninterrupted work on larger projects. What's interesting is that these Premium seats will stay within the same centrally managed Business workspace, avoiding the need for separate subscriptions. Premium seats cost $125 per user per month when billed monthly, or $100 per user per month annually. Standard seats remain at $25 per user per month, or $20 annually. Companies can mix and match Standard and Premium seats within the same workspace, assigning them based on individual employee needs. This flexibility allows businesses to align AI capacity with each employee's workload, preventing fragmented subscriptions. This matters because it helps companies optimize their AI tool usage and spending.
