ChatGPT Finance Feature: Budgeting & Account Linking

OpenAI is adding a new finance feature to ChatGPT, allowing users to link their financial accounts for budgeting advice. This collaboration with Plaid means bank accounts, investment accounts, and credit cards can connect to the AI. ChatGPT will provide a dashboard showing how money is spent, including updated spending, upcoming payments, subscriptions, and portfolio performance. Binding accounts allows the AI to offer personalized financial guidance. This feature is currently available to Pro users in the United States on web and iOS. While exclusive to Plaid for now, Intuit will be added soon. ChatGPT Plus subscribers will also get this feature after Pro user feedback. This could change how many people manage their personal finances.
