ChatGPT Finances: OpenAI expands to all Plus users

OpenAI is expanding its personal finance features for ChatGPT. This service is now available to ChatGPT Plus customers in the U.S., moving from the $100 per month plan to the $20 per month version. This new experience allows users to connect financial accounts and see a dashboard of their spending. You can also ask ChatGPT questions based on your financial information. OpenAI states that users maintain control of their data. To begin, users can open "Finances" from the sidebar or start a conversation by saying "@Finances, connect my accounts." ChatGPT then guides you through securely linking accounts via Plaid, with Intuit support expected soon. The system syncs and categorizes your data, displaying spending, subscriptions, upcoming payments, and portfolio performance. Users can also add financial goals. Financial data can be removed at any time, and private chats will not use this information. This feature could help users better understand and manage their money.
