ChatGPT Free Tier: Unlimited Texts, New AI Model

OpenAI is rolling out major updates for ChatGPT users. Free and Go plan users will soon have unlimited text conversations. They will also get a newer AI model called GPT-5.6 Luna, replacing the previous GPT-5.5 Instant. This new model is the smallest version of the GPT-5.6 family. Free and Go users will also see a new "Think" feature, letting them control how much reasoning ChatGPT uses before answering. These changes will start rolling out later this week and next week. However, some limits remain, like restrictions on file uploads and image generation for Free and Go users. Plus and Pro subscribers will also get an updated flagship model, GPT-5.6 Sol, designed for more direct answers and fewer factual mistakes. This update aims to make AI interactions more efficient and accurate for many users.
