ChatGPT GPT-Live Voice Update: More Conversational AI

OpenAI has rolled out GPT-Live, a new voice engine for ChatGPT. This update replaces the existing voice mode with a more conversational experience. Here's the thing: GPT-Live listens and talks at the same time, allowing for natural interruptions and follow-ups. The old version made you wait for a full pause before it replied. What's interesting is that it can even make small acknowledgment sounds while you're still speaking, much like a person would. This new engine is now live on chatgpt.com and within the ChatGPT apps for iOS and Android. GPT-Live-1 is the default for Go, Plus, and Pro subscribers. A lighter version, GPT-Live-1 mini, is rolling out to free users. The nine ChatGPT voices have also been remastered.
