ChatGPT Health: Apple Health & EMR Integration for US

OpenAI has launched a new health feature for all adult users in the United States. This feature allows ChatGPT to securely connect to Apple Health data and electronic medical records. It's called Health in ChatGPT and is available to logged-in users aged 18 and older on web and iOS platforms, across all subscription tiers. Users can find it in the sidebar of the main ChatGPT interface. This tool securely links data from Apple Health and medical records from systems like Epic and Oracle Health. It can help users compare lab results, track sleep and activity, monitor medication, and prepare for appointments. Electronic health record access is powered by a partnership with b.well, which aggregates data from about 2.2 million U.S. healthcare providers. OpenAI states that over 300 million people use ChatGPT weekly for health questions. This new feature aims to provide more personalized and context-aware answers to those questions.
