This helps people understand their health data. For example, ChatGPT can compare lab results or explain changes since a last appointment. OpenAI states that over 300 million people use ChatGPT weekly for health questions. The company emphasizes additional privacy and security protections for Health in ChatGPT. All conversations are encrypted, and health information receives extra encryption. Connected medical records and Apple Health data will not train OpenAI's AI models or be used for targeted ads. Users can also disconnect accounts, and synced data will be deleted within 30 days. This new feature aims to consolidate health information from various sources into one place, making it easier for users to manage and understand their health.
