ChatGPT on Mac: Apple Messages Integration & New Features

ChatGPT now connects directly to Apple Messages on a Mac. This new feature allows it to search conversations, draft replies, and even send messages for you. This capability comes with an update to the ChatGPT app for macOS. Once given permission, ChatGPT can access your Messages app, including iMessage, SMS, and RCS messages. You can ask it to find messages from a specific person or compose and send new ones. There are safeguards in place; ChatGPT asks for approval of recipients and message content before sending. This integration is currently available on Apple Silicon Macs and not on iPhones.
