ChatGPT Pro: Link Bank Accounts for Financial Advice

OpenAI users in the United States who subscribe to ChatGPT Pro can now give the AI chatbot access to their financial accounts. This feature is available through a new "Finances" tab in the AI app. The goal is for ChatGPT to provide better financial advice by reviewing balances, transactions, and investments. This access is facilitated by a third-party called Plaid and does not give the AI access to account numbers or the accounts themselves. OpenAI states this is currently a preview for a smaller group to gather real-world feedback. Other users are expected to get this feature soon.
