ChatGPT Pro: New Personal Finance Features Rolled Out

OpenAI is rolling out new personal finance features within ChatGPT for some subscribers. This enhanced experience allows users to connect their financial accounts. OpenAI announced that this preview is for Pro users in the U.S. You can securely connect accounts, see a dashboard of your spending, and ask ChatGPT questions based on your financial context. The company states users remain in control of their data. To begin, open "Finances" from the ChatGPT sidebar or start a conversation by saying "@Finances, connect my accounts." ChatGPT will then guide you to link accounts through Plaid, with Intuit support coming soon. After authentication, your data will sync and categorize. A personal finance dashboard will display current data on spending, subscriptions, upcoming payments, and portfolio performance. Users can also add financial goals. You can remove financial data at any time, and private chats will not use this information. This feature requires a ChatGPT Pro subscription, which costs $100 per month. The $20 per month ChatGPT Plus subscription does not yet support these new personal finance tools. This could change how some users manage their money digitally.
