The system integrates with over 12,000 financial institutions, including Chase, American Express, and Robinhood, using Plaid. Users will see a custom dashboard with portfolio performance, subscriptions, and upcoming payments. OpenAI used the expertise of the Hiro startup team to develop this. What's interesting is that over 200 million users already ask ChatGPT finance questions monthly. The new GPT-5.5 model improves the accuracy of this financial advice. Future plans include deeper analysis of taxes and credit cards. For privacy, users can disconnect accounts at any time, and synchronized data is permanently deleted within 30 days. This tool is currently for Pro users on web and iOS devices. This could change how many people manage their money directly through AI.
