ChatGPT Scheduled Tasks: Your New AI Personal Assistant

ChatGPT is enhancing its personal assistant capabilities with new scheduled task controls. There's now a "Scheduled" page in the sidebar where users can manage all active tasks. This includes viewing, pausing, editing, or deleting them. Research tasks can now search the web and connected applications, sending alerts only when changes occur. OpenAI states that all tasks are now faster and more reliable. Users can schedule tasks for specific times or parts of the day, such as morning, afternoon, or evening. This feature is available to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users. The number of active tasks depends on the user's plan. Tasks can run hourly and will pause if the user becomes inactive. The previous "Pulse" feature is being retired and integrated into these new scheduled tasks. This means ChatGPT can now proactively assist with your daily routines and information needs.
