China's 360 Security Tech Unveils AI Cyber-Deterrent

Chinese cybersecurity firm 360 Security Technology has unveiled two new AI tools designed to rival Anthropic's Mythos. These tools are described as China's answer for automated vulnerability hunting and cyber defense. Founder Zhou Hongyi introduced "Tu Long Feng" for vulnerability hunting and "Yi Tian Zhen" for automated cyber defense. Tu Long Feng has already identified 3,432 vulnerabilities. Here's the thing: Zhou states that top Chinese AI models currently lag Western systems by 20 to 30 percent. To close this gap, 360 uses an agent-based approach, combining AI models with security expertise and automated tools. What's interesting is Zhou compares advanced AI vulnerability models to "cyber weapons of mass destruction." He argues China needs to build an equivalent strategic deterrent to prevent the U.S. from holding a monopoly in this area.
