ChipAgents: $134M for Agentic AI in Chip Design

ChipAgents has expanded its Series A funding, raising an additional $60 million. This brings their total Series A round to $134 million, just six months after the initial close. What's interesting is new investor B Capital has joined the round, alongside existing investors like Bessemer Venture Partners, Micron, MediaTek, Ericsson, and ScOp. The company saw significant growth, achieving 6x growth in annual recurring revenue during the first half of 2026. They've also deployed their technology to more than 120 semiconductor companies, including MediaTek and Micron. ChipAgents uses domain-specific AI agents that independently plan and execute chip design and verification workflows. The Santa Clara-based company, founded in 2024, will use this new funding to scale customer deployments, expand its teams, and accelerate the development of its AI-native design platform. This funding highlights the growing demand for agentic AI in semiconductor design.
