Claude AI on Spotify: Personalized Playlists & Music Discovery

Spotify recently released a new integration with Claude, allowing for personalized music and podcast recommendations. This new feature builds on Spotify's existing AI-powered music discovery tools. The Claude integration works by connecting your Spotify account to Claude. You can then ask Claude for song recommendations based on your listening history and taste. Premium Spotify users can even describe a specific vibe or mood to get tailored playlists. This integration is available globally for both Free and Premium Spotify users, across web, mobile, and desktop platforms for Free, Pro, and Max Claude users. It launched in mid-April, following an earlier integration with ChatGPT. To use it, you sign into Claude, start a new chat, and prompt Spotify for recommendations. Claude will then guide you to link your Spotify account for a full experience. The recommendations come from Spotify’s personalization technology. This development offers new ways for users to discover music and enhance their listening experience.
