Claude Cowork AI: Mobile & Web Access Rolls Out

Anthropic's Claude Cowork AI agent is now available on mobile and web. Previously, this feature was only on the desktop app. Beta access will roll out gradually, starting with Max subscribers. What's interesting is that users can start a task on their desktop, check it on their phone, and see the finished result in a browser anywhere. Claude keeps working even if the device is off. The "human in the loop" feature also goes mobile, allowing Claude to ask for user input via smartphone when needed. Nothing is sent without user approval. Anthropic states that over 90 percent of Cowork usage is not software work, focusing instead on general knowledge tasks. Business operations and content creation make up about half of all usage. The desktop app is still needed for features that access local files, like reading and writing in connected folders. For a limited time, Anthropic is doubling Cowork usage limits through August 5th. This expansion means more flexible access to AI assistance for everyday tasks.
