Claude Cowork Mobile: Anthropic AI Agent on Your Phone

Anthropic's AI agent, Claude Cowork, is now available on mobile for the first time. This means you can direct the task-automation agent from your phone. Cowork is rolling out to the web and to the Claude apps on iOS and Android. What's interesting is that you can start a task on your laptop, then check its progress and pick up the finished result from your phone. This provides continuity, allowing a Cowork session to run in the background even after closing your laptop. It will notify your phone when it needs your input, and nothing is finalized without your review and approval. Usage data shows that software development accounts for less than 10 percent of Cowork sessions. Instead, business operations and content creation make up about half of all usage. This includes tasks like spend reconciliation and client presentations. The mobile access is currently a beta for Claude Max subscribers, but it will expand to other plans soon. To encourage use, doubled Cowork usage limits are extended through August 5. This matters because it offers greater flexibility and accessibility for managing automated tasks on the go.
