Claude Fable 5: Anthropic's Mythos AI Released

Anthropic is reportedly releasing Claude Fable 5, its most powerful AI model, to the public. This model is a Mythos-class AI, which is a new "Capybara" tier above Opus. Claude Fable 5 is built on the same architecture as the restricted Claude Mythos Preview but includes stronger safety guardrails. Anthropic spent two months adding these safeguards after initially deeming the model too dangerous for general release. The original Mythos Preview model was used by Project Glasswing partners to find over 10,000 critical software vulnerabilities in just one month. This included bugs that had gone undetected for up to 27 years. The bottom line is that this release marks a significant step for Anthropic, making their most capable AI available with enhanced safety controls.
