Claude Tops UK AI Satisfaction Survey: Beats ChatGPT & Gemini

Anthropic's Claude is the AI assistant with the highest satisfaction among current and former users in the UK. Claude achieved a net satisfaction score of 56.2. This places it ahead of Gemini, which scored 46.5, and ChatGPT, which came in at 46.0. What's interesting is that these rankings focus on satisfaction, not just overall preference. While ChatGPT is the most preferred AI assistant among UK users generally, Claude leads when it comes to actual user satisfaction. Perplexity AI also stands out, ranking in the top five for satisfaction despite being in the lower half for overall brand preference. Looking at current users, DeepSeek leads with a score of 77.2, followed by Claude at 74.5. However, satisfaction drops significantly among former users. Claude records the highest former-user score at 21.8, while ChatGPT's former-user satisfaction is much lower at 2.9. The bottom line is that a single metric only gives a partial view of an AI's performance. This matters because it highlights that popularity doesn't always equal user satisfaction.
