Three top AI bots, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude, were tested to build a used car dealership website using the exact same prompt. All three models successfully created a basic, working website with a homepage, inventory, and vehicle detail pages. They also included standard dealership messages about vehicle testing and transparent pricing. However, significant differences emerged beyond the basic requirements. Gemini's output showed major issues with images; for example, a Jeep Wrangler listing had an image of an empty road, and a Ford F-150 showed a Ferrari. The pricing in Gemini's results also lacked reasoning, with varied car categories listed at similar prices. Claude, on the other hand, performed much better with images, matching exact models to listings and even including condition badges like A+, A-, and B. The images were high-resolution and depicted used cars realistically, even though this wasn't explicitly requested. Claude's overall website design was also superior. This matters because it highlights how AI models can differ greatly in their reasoning capabilities and attention to detail, even when given identical instructions.
