Couchbase Senior Vice President of AI, Tim Finley, states that data needs to be a primary focus in any AI system. This release follows a major leadership change at Couchbase, which was acquired last year by Haveli Investments for $1.5 billion. The company's product strategy now emphasizes mission-critical applications, infrastructure consolidation, and AI-ready data. Many organizations currently use fragmented data infrastructure for their AI initiatives. This new offering could help streamline data management for AI agents and applications, which require vast amounts of data to function effectively.
