The company's Vicent Marti explained that early architectural decisions at GitHub, while sensible at the time, are now strained by the explosion of AI-driven software. Marti states that "Continuity," Cursor's Git storage system, learns from past successes and fixes known problems. This new system is an attempt to reinvent software version control for the agentic AI era.
