Chinese AI company DeepSeek has launched the official version of its DeepSeek-V4-Pro model. It features significantly enhanced agent capabilities and supports the Responses API and Codex integration. The company says it is now fully available across web, mobile app, and API. The updated model offers a 1 million-token context window and a maximum output length of 384K tokens. It also supports both thinking and non-thinking modes. DeepSeek released benchmark charts showing strong performance across several agent-focused tests. The company states the V4-Pro-0813 approached or even surpassed leading overseas models in some cases. It scored 87.9 on Terminal-Bench, narrowly trailing Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5. DeepSeek has priced DeepSeek-V4-Pro-0813 at 3 yuan per million input tokens and 6 yuan per million output tokens. This launch indicates a new phase of competition in the AI industry, focusing on advanced agent capabilities.
