Dell AI Factory Expands: Enterprise Agentic AI & Local Control

Dell Technologies is expanding its AI Factory with Nvidia portfolio, focusing on enterprise-controlled infrastructure for scaling agentic AI workloads. New additions cover deployment, data orchestration, rack-scale infrastructure, cooling, governance, and ecosystem integrations. The company introduced Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a local AI platform powered by Dell workstations and Nvidia's NemoClaw. This allows organizations to run autonomous AI agents locally, keeping data on-device for privacy and predictable costs. Dell also announced support for Nvidia's OpenShell across its AI Factory portfolio, enabling governance of AI agents from workstations to PowerEdge servers. The Dell AI Data Platform now has enhanced orchestration, search, and analytics capabilities to speed up AI data preparation. Infrastructure updates include PowerRack, a factory-integrated system for enterprise AI and HPC, along with updates to storage, management tools, and liquid cooling. Dell is also expanding its AI ecosystem with partners like Google and OpenAI, aiming for on-premises or sovereign AI deployments.
