EC-Council ADG AI Framework: Govern & Secure AI at Scale

EC-Council has launched its Adopt, Defend, Govern, or ADG, AI Framework. This framework aims to help businesses manage and secure artificial intelligence at scale. It was developed with input from experts at companies like Citi, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, and Salesforce. The ADG Framework provides a unified operating model with three pillars, 12 controls, and nine governance surfaces. These are designed to align with major global standards like the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF. Global AI spending is expected to reach $2.5 trillion in 2026. However, only 1% of leaders believe their AI governance capabilities are mature. Additionally, 78% of executives would not feel confident passing an AI governance audit within 90 days. The ADG framework helps organizations operationalize AI responsibly. This framework could help businesses bridge the gap between rapid AI adoption and the need for strong accountability.
