Edge Copilot: Image Analysis Feature Rolls Out Globally

Microsoft Edge is officially adding a one-click "Analyze image" feature to its Copilot integration. This new function lets users send any web image directly to Copilot with a simple right-click, without needing to download it. What's interesting is that this has been in testing for months within the Edge Canary channel. The groundwork began in March with changes to Edge's layout and Copilot's placement. In late March, Microsoft also tested support for multiple Copilot instances, allowing independent AI chat sessions for each open tab. The "Analyze image" feature first appeared in early April as part of a floating toolbar. By early May, this toolbar was integrated directly into Edge's context menus. The official roadmap confirms these months of testing are now leading to a worldwide rollout. The bottom line is that Copilot in Edge is getting more powerful and easier to use for everyone.
