Edward Foley Joins GovAI: From UK AI Security to Think Tank

Edward Foley has joined GovAI as a Research Scholar in London. He previously spent two years at the UK AI Security Institute, known as AISI. Here's the thing: Foley was the AISI's Strategy and Special Projects Lead. In that role, he worked on AI infrastructure security, partnerships with frontier AI companies, and the institute's strategy. He even negotiated UK partnerships with Google DeepMind and OpenAI. What's interesting is that this is a return to GovAI for Foley. He was a Winter Fellow there for four months earlier this year, focusing on compute governance.
